77-year-old man missing in or near Utah’s Capitol Reef National Park
CAPITOL REEF NAT’L PARK, Utah (TMX) — Authorities and park rangers in Utah are seeking the public’s help locating a missing 77-year-old man who may have been hiking in Capitol Reef National Park.
The National Park Service said 77-year-old Richard Discipio was last seen at the Days Inn in Torrey, Utah, on June 6, and may have been hiking in the Chimney Rock area of Capitol Reef National Park between June 6 and June 8.

A joint search is being carried out by crews from the National Park Service, the Bureau of Land Management, Wayne County and Sevier County.
Discipio is described as standing 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing 155 pounds and having green eyes.
