Montrose County Sheriff’s Office investigating fatal shooting near Kayla Trail

MONTROSE, Colo. (KJCT) -One person is dead after a shooting in Montrose on Thursday.
The Montrose County Sheriff’s Office said it happened around 2 p.m. near the 64000 block of Kayla Trail.
One person died in the incident but has not been identified.
The sheriff’s office said the investigation is in its early stages.
No other information is available at this time.
