Today, partly cloudy and mostly dry in the valleys with the exception of isolated mountain showers. Stray showers could make it into the valleys during the afternoon hours however most areas will stay dry. High temperatures ranging from mid 70s to mid 80s. Overnight to morning low temperatures ranging from mid 40s to high 50s.

We see a weather pattern shift with an area of low pressure from the pacific Northwest drop bringing next chances for rain and cooler fall temperatures by Sunday. Another variable of this system is hurricane Rachel in the eastern Pacific. Both the low pressure system and hurricane Rachel are forecasted to merge however we are still fine tuning the potential effects that will have on the forecast.
