Denver, Colo. (KJCT/KKCO) Denver Broncos have released Quarterback, Chad Kelly on Thursday after pleading guilty Wednesday morning to second-degree criminal trespassing.
Back in October after attending a Halloween party, the 24-year-old entered a couple's home after 1 AM uninvited. Kelly was sentenced to one year of supervised probation and 50 hours of community service.
On the same day of Kelly's release, the Broncos resigned free agent Quarterback, Kevin Hogan to take Kelly's place signing a one year deal.
The 26- year old played eight games with Denver after being claimed off the waivers from Washington in September. Hogan has thrown 621 yards in his career including four touchdowns and seven interceptions.
