Men's Lacrosse falls to Westminster

Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) It was a great game Saturday with the Mavericks against Westminster. Both teams were aggressive and Westminster finally giving the Mavs some competition.

The Mavs were down 6-2 in the first quarter. Jack Griffin gets rid of the defender, sets up at the top and gets it behind the net. 6-3, Griffins, and Ben Austin with the pass to Joe Wulforst with a quick flip to Johnny Cary for the goal and the game is a 2-goal difference. The Griffins outscored the Mavs in the final quarter.

Mavs drop their 3-game winning streak, 14-10. Mavericks have two away games left before the RMAC Tournament that will be played at Walker Field.
