GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) There's nothing like a good rivalry and Fruita Monument and Grand Junction put on another fantastic game in front of a packed crowd at Walker Field.
Fruita recognized their seniors at halftime in their final home game of the regular season. The Wildcats were first on the board with a goal from Dylan Johnson.
Both teams went back and forth scoring on each other. After the final horn, Grand Junction secures the win 11-9. With the win, the Tigers lock up the Mountain League title.
Grand Junction closes out the season on the road with a game against Palmer on Friday and Pine Creek on Saturday.
