If Grand Junction wants to surpass their one-win league total from last year they'll need to do a better job on the offensive end.
"We've got to score more points," said head coach Sam Provenza. "That's one of our biggest issues this year is we're getting shots, we're just not making shots. We have to really focus on that."
The Lady Tigers are 0-3 in leagu play thus far. In 19 games this season Grand Junction has crossed the 30-point threshold just seven times. They shoot 32 percent as a team.
"We just have to really slow down when we're trying to run our offense," said junior Angel Paradiso. "We can fast break a few times but if we try to do it every time we're not going to get as many points as before."
Junior Makenzie Younker is the only player on the roster averaging double figures in scoring at 10.6 points per game.
The Tigers will take on Central at 5:30 P.M. at home on Wednesday.
