HS Boys Basketball: Palisade protects home court against Tigers

PALISADE, Colo. (KJCT) Palisade carried their momentum from the first quarter through the rest of the game to get a 63-52 win over Grand Junction.

Grand Junction took the lead early on a big three from Blaine Butler and then a lay up by Kyle Powell. After taking an 8-4 lead, Palisade took one of their time outs. It proved to work wonders for the Bulldogs as they went on an 8-0 run to finish the first with a 12-8 advantage.

Palisade snagged their seventh win of the season and now sit at .500 this season. They will host Summit on Saturday. Grand Junction still only has one win this season. They will play their second league game on the road at Durango on Saturday.
