HS Baseball: Bulldogs make comeback, defeat Devils 13-11

PALISADE, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) Palisade went into Friday undefeated, 9-0, in the Western Slope League play. The Bulldogs hosted Eagle Valley for a double header at Palisade High School.

In game one, Eagle Valley got out to a 4-2 lead after three innings. After facing a big deficit heading into the home half of the sixth, Palisade rattles off seven runs in the inning to take the lead and get the comeback win 13-11.

In game two of the series, the Bulldogs took the lead from the start with a four run first inning. Palisade would continue to score often in the game resulting in an 11-5 win in five innings. The game was shortened due to lack of sunlight.

Palisade will play at Rifle on April 24.
