HS Baseball: Tigers win low scoring game

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) The Tigers had won five of their last six games heading into their game with Ponderosa.

Both teams went through the first inning scoreless. The Mustangs were first to score on an RBI double by Derek Lukes in the second inning.

In the third inning, Grand Junction tied it up in the third with an RBI single from Jared Hanks.

The Tigers trailed heading into the fifth but scored runs in the next two innings to take the lead and win 3-2.

Grand Junction has won three straight and will play Liberty at Suplizio Field Saturday at 9:00 A.M.
