GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) Grand Junction senior Kade Christensen will not have to move far when he competes in college. The Tiger will stay in the Grand Valley and run track at CMU.
Christensen was a regular at the Mavericks track camps and was always eager to get faster on the track. The three sport athlete made his choice to run with the Mavericks because he believes in his ability on the track.
"I just felt like it fit me more," Christensen said. "I'm not exactly the biggest person ever so I felt like track would help me go on in life and prepare myself for everything. I'm a family guy so I like to stay home and it was really a perfect fit. I really wanted to go there and I got lucky they wanted me to go there."
