GJ Rockies: Rolison's start leads Rockies to win

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) The hot streak continued for the Grand Junction Rockies on Sunday night at home, as they took down the Orem Owlz in the series finale 7-1.

2018 1st Round draft pick Ryan Rolison started on the mound for Grand Junction and went four innings allowing one earned run. After a lead off double by Nonie Williams for Orem, Rolison went on to strike out six hitters.

In the ballgame Grant Lavigne finished with two hits and the 18 year old now leads the Pioneers league south in hitting with a .388 average.

The Rockies homestand continues for the Rockies on Monday when they welcome in the Ogden Raptors to Suplizio Field. The Rockies took two of three from Ogden earlier in the week.
