GJ Rockies: Rockies drop game two on the road

Anderson Amarista started on the mound for the Rockies and took the loss going 2.3 innings giving up five runs on five hits. Idaho Falls took the 11-4 game two win on Thursday night.

On a bright note for the Rockies, outfielder Casey Golden connected on a home run which was his 17th on the year. That sets a franchise record for the Grand Junction Rockies. Teammate Chad Spanberger is also only one away from the old record with 16.

The Rockies now fall to three games out of a playoff spot.

They will look to bounce back tomorrow with first pitch against Idaho Falls set for 7:15 P.M Mountain time.
