Anderson Amarista started on the mound for the Rockies and took the loss going 2.3 innings giving up five runs on five hits. Idaho Falls took the 11-4 game two win on Thursday night.
On a bright note for the Rockies, outfielder Casey Golden connected on a home run which was his 17th on the year. That sets a franchise record for the Grand Junction Rockies. Teammate Chad Spanberger is also only one away from the old record with 16.
The Rockies now fall to three games out of a playoff spot.
They will look to bounce back tomorrow with first pitch against Idaho Falls set for 7:15 P.M Mountain time.
