IDAHO FALLS, ID (KKCO/KJCT) The Grand Junction Rockies dropped game three of the series to Idaho Falls on Saturday night, but bounced back in Sunday's finale. The Rockies scored three runs in the top of the 9th inning to propel them to the 5-1 win.

The Chukars jumped out to the 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning on a Nathan Eaton home run, but from that point on were held scoreless. Alfredo Garcia started on the mound and went six innings allowing just one run on five hits for the Rockies.

Aneudy Duarte picked up the win in relief with a scoreless inning of work. Batting out of the lead off spot Will Golsan led the team offensively going 3-5 with two runs scored.

The win on Sunday keep the Rockies atop the standing in the Pioneer League South with an 8-4 record. Grand Junction will now be off until Thursday night, with the All-Star game being played at Suplizio Field on Tuesday at 6:40 P.M.
