GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) Five Grand Junction Rockies will play in front of their home crowd when they host the Pioneer vs. Northwest League All-Star Game on Tuesday.

Coco Montes will start at second base while Niko Decolati will start in the outfield. First baseman Grant Lavigne was the third position player selected.

All three are hitting over .300.

"It'll be a great time," said Montes. "I get to be around some good baseball players. We talk about hitting, stuff like that, approach. It's always good to be recognized for playing well.”

Relievers Reagan Biechler and Alexander Martinez were named to the team as well.

Both pitchers have ERA's under 3.00.

"It's going to be pretty cool being at home," said Biechler. "That's another thing that was really cool too, being able to be in the home stadium. Me being from Colorado, I’m going to have some other people able to come out and drive out from Colorado Springs to be here as well to watch me if I get to pitch. So it's going to be really cool."

There will be a fan fest at 4 P.M. followed by the home run derby at 5 P.M. It all leads up the All-Star game which begins at 6:40 P.M. at Suplizio Field.
