GJ Rockies: Rockies rally to take series finale

The Grand Junction Rockies scored a run in the top of the first inning to go up 1-0 but the lead did not last long. Idaho Falls struck for five runs in the bottom half of the first to take early 5-1 lead.

The bats were silenced for the Rockies until the 5th inning when they struck for 6 runs in the 5th and 6th innings and that proved to be the difference.

Hunter Williams picked up the win for the Rockies on the mound coming in in the 6th.

Grand Junction finished with 7 runs on 15 hits in the ballgame.

The Rockies will now head home as they begin a three game series with Ogden on Sunday night at Suplizio Field.
