Colorado Mesa football will take on one of the best offensive teams in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in Adams State tomorrow afternoon.

The defense will be key for CMU tomorrow. Adams State averages 33 points a game, and boy do they love to air it out.

The Grizzlies have recorded more than 25,000 passing yards this season. That's over 500 more than the next highest team in the conference. They average 492 total yards of offense a game.

So the secondary definitely has their work cut out for them come Saturday afternoon.

"I think it's going to be very difficult for Adams to drive the football on our defense if we give them 70, 80, 90-yard fields versus giving them a short field,” said head coach Russ Martin.

Kickoff from Rex Field in Alamosa is set for 1:00 P.M on Saturday.
