CMU Women's Soccer: Clare steps down as head coach

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) CMU soccer will be moving in a new direction next season as head women's soccer coach Jason Clare has stepped down from his position.

Over five season's at the helm, Clare had a 28-46-15 record. He reached the conference tournament in his first seasons.

Clare said "It has been a privilege and an honor to be a part of CMU athletics and I will miss representing the Mavs. I have grown a lot and learned so much. I owe thanks to CMU."

A nation wide search will start immediately for the next CMU women's soccer head coach.
