CMU Women's Lacrosse: Seniors sent off with dominant performance

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) Five seniors from the CMU women's lacrosse team were recognized before their final home game of the regular season.

Olivia Hayden, Miranda Crissman, Katelyn Parry, Amanda Barton, and Erin Koehler played in their final home game and were recognized before the game began.

The Mavericks scored early leading 5-0 after the first ten minutes of the game. CMU held Fort Lewis scoreless in the first half with an 11-0 lead. They held on to win in convincing fashion 19-1. Danielle Simpson led the Mavericks with five goals.

CMU will compete in the RMAC tournament that begins on Thursday in St. Charles, Mo.
