CMU Women's Basketball: Defeat Western State on senior night

Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) The women honored four players and the Men honored six in Senior Night. They were joined by their families and it was a little emotional for some but all in all, a great moment for everyone.

The Mavericks started off a little rough having only scored 18 points in the first half and 14 total turnovers, but they came back to life in the second.

Natalie Bartle had a great night racking up 16 points. As for Jaylyn Duran, she led the team with 18 points. Duran made another mark on the stomping grounds of CMU, she now holds the record for most 3-pointers in school history with 247 3-pointers.

The Mavs win 60-39 and will play in the first round of the RMAC Tournament Tuesday night and will host Black Hills State at Brownson Arena.
