CMU Volleyball: Woods breaks CMU career digs record

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) Colorado Mesa senior libero Taylor Woods continues to play impressive volleyball, with 21 digs on Saturday against Azusa Pacific she is now the record holder for the most career digs with 1,591 in the rally-scoring era.

That number has her ranked third all-time in CMU history. Amy Miller holds the top spot with over 2,500 digs in her career from 1991-94.

CMU volleyball finished the weekend with a 2-2 record, and things only get tougher for the Mavs. They will head to Kansas City, Mo next weekend for the Rockhurst Classic. CMU will take on Rockhurst in the first game of the tournament , the Hawks are the No.10 ranked team in the country.
