CMU Swim and Dive: Men and Women both crack top ten for first time

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) This season for CMU swim and dive has been historic as both the men's and women's teams are in the top ten for the first time. The men have moved up to eighth in the CSCAA Top 25 Poll. The women are back in the top ten as they sit at ninth.

For the men, it's the highest rank they have ever had in program history. With the RMAC Championships two weeks away, the men will attempt to win their second RMAC title in three years and the women will be looking for their first ever conference title.

"It's definitely pretty cool," said diving head coach Logan Pearsall. "Now we need to get to nationals and actually be top ten for the first time ever. I know I was a coach here for five years that we have been building and building. That's something that us as a coaching staff and as a team that we strive for that."
