CMU Men's Lacrosse: Record setting night snaps losing streak

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) It was a busy night for the Mavericks men’s lacrosse team as they set new records in a blowout win over Notre Dame de Namur Wednesday night.

CMU scored early and often and got out to a 10-1 lead after the first quarter. They would go on to score 12 in the fourth en route to a 34-7 win at Walker Field.

CMU's 34 goals is a new school record. Senior Jack Griffin scored 10 goals and had 15 points which are both new individual records. He also had five assists which ties the school record.

The Mavericks will play Westminster College April 6.
