CMU Men's Lacrosse: Eight named to All-RMAC team

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) The RMAC tournament and regular season champions from last year look like they may have a chance to do it again this year as the Men's Lacrosse Preseason All-RMAC team was released and eight mavericks made the list.

The Mavericks were picked as preseason favorites to repeat as RMAC champions. Jack Griffin was named the Preseason Midfielder of the Year. He was the midfielder of the year last season and he was fifth in the conference for goals per game with 2.27.

Cole Smith and Ryder Clark were named Preseason Co-Defensive Players of the Year. Smith was first team All-RMAC last year causing 10 turnovers. Clark was also first team last season.

Remi Reeves was named Preseason Co-Goalie of the Year. Last year he was the RMAC goalie of the year after making 103 saves.

Brandon Wilson. Johnny Cary, Michael Marino and Nate Scully were also named to the Preseason All-RMAC team. The season will begin February 7 at Maryville University.
