DENVER, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) Former Colorado Mesa offensive lineman Austin Fleer signed with the Cincinnati Bengals after the draft, but was waived on Friday afternoon.
Fleer wasn't on the free agent market very long. The Broncos claimed him off waivers on Sunday afternoon and he is expected to join the team at camp.
Austin played for Colorado Mesa last season and played in 37 games in his career as a Maverick. The Aurora, Colorado native was an All-RMAC first team selection as a junior and senior.
Fleer is expected to work out at tackle and guard for the Broncos in training camp.
