CMU: Baseball gets third shutout of the season

Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) Taking care of business Friday night was the Mavericks against Adams State.

In game one of the series, Josh Shapiro finds a hole in center field. Shapiro stealing around the diamond; Shapiro stole second on a passed ball made by the pitcher and steals third on the next pitch. Shapiro came full circle when the ball ricocheted off the catcher and couldn't find the ball. Shapiro collides with the catcher and doesn't tag the plate but gets there before it's too late.

Mavs take game one and their third shutout of the season, 12-0.

The series continues tomorrow at 1:00 P.M.
