FRUTIA, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) It would take hours to count all the trophies the Blecha brothers have won.
"We'll bring home eight for a weekend," said dad and head coach Garrett Blecha.
The two beat out some of the fastest kids on two wheels at the Loretta Lynn's Amateur National Championship. It's the biggest amateur motocross event in the country.
"It's a really demanding track," said Dilon. "You got to do good there. You have to be really technical. Each year has prepped us better and better."
Dilon took fifth while Cole finished second in their respective age divisions.
"It was unbelievable because last year I was going to get fifth and then the last moto I really struggled and that kind of cost me," said Cole.
The boys go through a weekly practice schedule to get ready for big races. Garrett takes them to their homemade track five days a week.
"It sometimes gets monotonous," said Garrett. "But when you have results it's a lot easier at the end of the day."
For the Blecha's, turning pro may be a little far down the road. For now, they're just enjoying the ride.
"The joy of riding a dirt bike is so awesome," said Dilon. "Just the feeling you get when you're on the top of the podium is amazing."
