A former school bus driver in Mesa County will likely spend the rest of her life in prison after she molested several children.

On Monday, a Mesa County judge sentenced 51-year-old Faye Morosini 140 years to life in prison.

She was convicted on all counts after a jury trial that ended on June 5th.

According to District Attorney Dan Rubinstein, Morosini was found guilty on seven counts of sex assault on a child, and seven additional counts of sex assault on a child by someone in a position of trust.

Morosini was employed by Student Transportation of America, which provides bus drivers for Mesa County Valley School District 51.

We are told Morosini worked for them starting in August of 2015. She was suspended on January 30th, 2018 when the company learned about the investigation underway.

An employee with Student Transportation of America tells us they did not have any problems with her during her employment.

They also noted all of their bus drivers go through criminal background checks, DMV checks and drug and alcohol testing.
