Western Slope Human Trafficking Training Event

GRAND JUNCTION,Co (KJCT)-- January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month and a local organization ‘Western Slope against Trafficking’ (W-S-A-T) is hosting a training event.

W-S-A-T is training the attendees’ in common trafficking situations and how to respond if you are ever put in that situation.

A question and answer session will also be hosted by local experts from the task force.

W-S-A-T strongly encourages the public to attend this free event, however you do need to register in order to participate in the event.

Card or cash donations will also be collected at the event and will provide additional training opportunities organized and facilitated by W-S-A-T.

The event is held on Human Trafficking Awareness day on January 11th at The Center for Independence in Grand Junction located at 740 Gunnison Ave.
