Two hurt in Clifton camper trailer fire

CLIFTON, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) -- Two people are hurt after a camper trailer caught fire in Clifton a little after 6 p.m. Monday.

The Clifton Fire Department tells us when they showed up on scene a camper trailer at 152 2nd Street was completely engulfed in flames and was threatening surrounding structures.

One person was transported to St. Mary's with unknown injuries, the other treated on scene.

The fire department is still working to find two dogs that were supposedly in the trailer.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
