According to the Rocky Mountain Incident Management Team, the Deep Creek Fire is 62 percent contained and is still 4,112 acres in size.
The cause of the fire, located 9 miles north east Hayden, Colorado, is still unknown according to officials.
Officials say crews are working to improve the current containment around the perimeter of the fire.
Routt County Roads (CR) 52 and 56 are limited to local traffic only, due to the increase in fire crew traffic, officials said.
