I-70 westbound and eastbound lanes are closed through Glenwood Canyon because of a large rockslide.
Colorado State Patrol say it happened near mile marker 122 early Tuesday morning. That's between Shoshone and Grizzly Creek.
CDOT says the safety closure is between exit 121 and exit 133. That’s Grizzly Creek to Dotsero.
Vehicles are being diverted off the highway. It's not clear when it will reopen.
EB traffic stopped at mile marker 116, WB traffic stopped at mile marker 133.
Check back for updates.
8:30 UPDATE: The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office tweeted that eastbound will be closed for about 3 hours. Westbound is undetermined.
A rock mitigation crew is on its way.
