Rewarding random acts of kindness

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- A local organization is reaching out to people with random acts of kindness.

Members of the Grand Junction Lions Club's have been given $100 in cash to use to perform random acts of kindness in the community. They said it's another way to give a helping hand to those who go unrecognized, or may not get help through more 'traditional' community programs.
The Lions Club said the program has been so successful over the past decade that it's inspiring similar programs across the country.
