The skiing and snowboarding season ends March 25 at Powderhorn Ski Resort.
With a snowstorm over the St. Patrick's Day weekend, riders say the snow is worth it.
"Went and got my buddy from school, and then we came up here – just a half day – it was great," Trevor Bingham said..
With the winter coming to a close, Powderhorn is already thinking about their summer events.
"We are going to get open for summer as soon as we can, so as soon as the snow melts up there we will start clearing the bike trails and we can't wait to get open for downhill mountain biking," said Ryan Robinson, the marketing and sales manager at Powderhorn Resort.
They're thinking about next winter, too.
Powderhorn is offering a mission affordable pass that works for the end of this season into next season for almost half the normal cost, but there's still some time to ski before the season is over.
"Amazingly, this last week we're open conditions are great," Robinson said. "Most of the mountain is open. We have this fresh layer of snow. Take advantage of it before we close."
