Ouray, Colo. avalanche claims the life of climber

Van Le Little of Seattle, Washington was climbing with three others on a guided climb when falling ice spurred an avalanche around 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020.
Little was taking pictures of the other climbers when she was swept off of the mountain and into the river below by the slide of snow and ice.
The avalanche happened on the Dungeon Ice Climbing Route across the Uncompahgre River from Mile Marker 89 on highway 550.
