No one hurt after truck hits utility pole

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- The Grand Junction Police Department said no one was hurt when a dump truck hit a utility pole and flipped on Thursday morning.

It happened around 9 a.m. on 23 Road, between Highway 6 and 50 and G Road.

Traffic was shut down on 23 Road in both directions.

Police said it would be a while before crews would be able to upright the truck and get it towed.

No word on what caused the crash to happen.
