More good news for the Grand Junction economy, a teardrop camper company has moved from Denver to Grand Junction.
Timberleaf Trailers picked up and moved just six weeks ago to the Western Slope. It's a move likely to bring more commerce, visitors and jobs to the Valley.
Timberleaf Trailers said their new facility allows them to almost double the work they were able to do in Denver, with less cost in rent. They said their clientele are fans of the Western Slope.
"In fact, there are more inclined, are more happy to come here to pick up the trailer because they’ll likely go do some camping in our local areas like Moab and the Mesa," said Kevin Molick, owner of Timberleaf Trailers.
They said they'll be looking at renting out trailers in the coming weeks.
