MONTROSE, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- A dazzling sight caught the attention of many Coloradans last week.

According to the American Meteor Society, there were over a hundred reports of a fireball shooting across the sky last Thursday night. The meteor was moving westward and ended its trip near Montrose.

If you missed this meteor, another extraterrestrial sighting will take place Monday and Tuesday nights. The recently discovered Iwamoto Comet will be in view with a set of binoculars.
