Man shot while on a walk, police seek info

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- Authorities are asking for your help after a man was shot while walking Thursday evening.

The Mesa County Sheriff's office says a 37-year-old Hispanic man was walking in the 500 block of Placer Avenue near 30 Road and North Avenue when he was shot.

He reported a passing vehicle is where the bullet came from. There's no description of the vehicle.

The man’s injuries weren’t life-threatening.

Authorities are asking if anyone saw anything suspicious around 7:15 p.m. Thursday, to call their tip line at 970-244-3526.
