GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- A cyclist is charged after a crash involving a car.
It happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of 12th Street and Gunnison Avenue.
Police said a passenger car heading north on 12th Street hit a man on a bike, who was traveling east on Gunnison Avenue. The cyclist reportedly ran a red light.
Officials said the cyclist had a cut to his head and was taken to the hospital.
The cyclist was cited for disobeying a red light, according to police.
The driver of the car remained at the scene.
