Man dies due to medical issue, crashes into wall

The Mesa County Coroner's Office has identified Stanley Nunnally, a 62-year-old male from Grand Junction, as the driver in this crash.

The coroner's office said Nunnally had significant heart disease that resulted in his death. There were no injuries that contributed to his death, and the manner of death is natural, according to the coroner's office.

A man is dead Saturday, Grand Junction police say he was driving on 25 ½ Road when they believe there was a medical event that caused him to crash into a wall.

It happened around 3:00 p.m.

He was driving a white pick up and ran through the stop sign at Independent Avenue, police say he was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
