A man accused of leading a major illegal marijuana grow in western Colorado last year has been arrested in connection with another grow nearby.

Investigators say Hueng Yu Wong had large-scale grows on both of his Western Slope properties. The one near Rifle was busted up back in September of 2016, the haul included more than 2,400 plants.

The latest bust happened earlier this month at Wong’s property south of New Castle where federal and local authorities say they found about 250 pounds of recently harvested marijuana.

Wong was arrested on suspicion of violating state law at the property near New Castle and is being held in jail.
