GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT News)-- A local mortgage lender is helping District 51 programs stay in tip top shape.
Major Mortgage has set up a donation platform for four of the D51 high schools. Borrowers and clients can donate up to $500 to their choice of school program at Fruita Monument, Central, Grand Junction or Palisade. The money will come from Major Mortgage, but will be donated under the client's name. Major Mortgage is locally owned and operated with many of their employees growing up in the area. They say they wanted to find a way to give back to their hometown schools.
"Kind of the goal of this was just to help those individual high school programs. Anything from basketball, baseball, band, ROTC, cheer leading- anything that you can think of that's under the high school as far as a program is concerned, we can donate the $500 to," says Major Mortgage loan officer, Adam Croker.
They've also set up an app to make it even easier to donate. If you are looking to donate you can give them a call at 970- 241-6100 or visit the websites that have been set up:
