GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT)-- Health reports can be full of dense medical terms, making it easy for people's eyes to glaze over.
One local artist is helping to spread the word about public health priorities, but he's doing it through art.
Seth Weber is one of eight artists who was awarded this grant through the state health department.
His mural is on the side of the Colorado Discover Ability building, a non-profit that helps those with disabilities adapt to different sports opportunities.
Weber decided to depict murals of those with disabilities enjoying the outdoors and being active.
"I am stoked that I get to do what I love and that it's also highlighting the fine people who also get to do what they love." Says Weber.
Projects were based on numerous aspects, one being the mural located in a high-visibility location. This mural stands just off to the side of the Riverside Parkway trail and US-50.
