GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- Thursday was the last farmer's market in downtown Grand Junction.
Downtown Grand Junction said it's been a pretty successful year, with more vendors than they've ever had, more than 120. They said 33 farmers had their produce displayed too.
They said a lot of people enjoyed the entertainment side of things at the farmer's market, and they may be focusing more on that in the future.
"The market last week had the open beer garden, which we heard a lot of great things about, and so we're working out some details right now for next year,” said Caitlyn Love, with Downtown Grand Junction.
This was the second year for the market to accept SNAP benefits, and they say it'll come back next year. Downtown Grand Junction said about 3,000 to 4,000 people went to the market every week.
