GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- St. Mary’s Hospital honored first responders Wednesday with a brunch.
The head chef at the hospital says it was all inspired by one of his dreams. He woke up and decided to make the brunch happen to honor those who serve our community.
The chef hopes they can make the event more regular.
"These gentlemen and women put their lives on the line regularly for us, for safety for family members, for friends. It just touches me," said Jared Prows, executive chef at St. Mary's Hospital.
The brunch was decked out to the nines, there were steak and eggs, rolls, anything on the menu was up for grabs.
