CLIFTON, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- Colorado State Patrol told our crew on scene that shortly after 2:00 a.m. on Thursday, they got a report of a hit and run.
It happened on I-70B and 31 Road where someone spotted a person lying in the middle of the westbound lane.
CSP, Mesa County Sheriff's Deputies and Clifton Fire Department all were on scene.

The 60-year-old pedestrian hit was taken to the hospital and the extent of his injuries is unknown.
CSP says he does have multiple broken bones.
Officials tell our crew that the person was hit by a car. There is no information about the car involved in the incident at this time, but it should have a large dent to the front of it.
CSP is conducting an investigation but needs help from the public.
