Highway 50 drive-by shooting

The Montrose County Sheriff’s office needs your help finding a car involved in a drive-by shooting.
It happened on Highway 50, north of Olathe late Tuesday night. The sheriff’s office says a woman and child were driving north on the highway when another car drove up next to them and started shooting at the victim’s car.
The woman called 911 and drove to Main Street in Delta where she met law enforcement. The woman was cut by some broken glass, but her injuries weren’t serious. The child wasn’t hurt, according to the sheriff’s office.
The car suspected in the shooting is described as a white four-door sedan, and it hasn’t been found. Anyone with information is asked to call 970-252-4020.
