The authority partnered with 32Waves to offer public WiFi along Main Street, between 3rd and 7th Streets.

"32Waves’ flexible network structure allows the DDA and BID to dictate times of availability, provide visitors valuable
information about Downtown, and gather data about who is visiting our district and when," according to a press release from the Downtown Development Authority.

The WiFi will be available for a two-hour session between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. during special events.

Here are instructions on how to access it:

1. Select the WiFi network “Downtown WiFi” from your device.

2. Enter your email address and zip code and accept the terms of service.

3. Select the optional checkbox to receive important email updates about Downtown happenings and events.

4. Enjoy free access to the internet as you stroll Main Street, courtesy of 32 Waves and Downtown Grand Junction!
