GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) -- Congratulations, you've made it to Friday! If you're like us, you're probably sick of cooking and looking for something fun to kick off the Memorial Day weekend.
How about Food Truck Friday? They're hosting their kickoff celebration Friday night with at least eight different trucks, live music and the beer garden. It's all over at Lincoln Park.
We're told your food options will vary from Mexican food to barbecue. Not only is it expected to be tasty, but it gives you the opportunity to support local bands and businesses too.
"It's just a great way to support local," Steven Preuss, the man behind Grand Valley Food Truck Fridays, said. "We bring out live local music, so we get the local music scene involved, and then all these food trucks are working their way, trying to build up in this community."
If you can't make it to this one, the event happens three times a month all over the Valley.
